I have been a Registered Nurse since 1968. I have worked in nearly all areas of medicine since that time: ICU, CCU, Step-down Units, ER, Neurology, Orthopedics, General Medicine, General Surgery, Respiratory Unit, Oncology and as a Chemotherapy Nurse. I retired from "western medicine" in 1990 and continued to explore complimentary therapies. I pursued a career in Herbal Therapy working with Natures Sunshine Products for 2 years. I took classes in Homeopathy culminating in a Certifate in 2003. I had been using Bach Flower Essences since 1990, completing a certification program for in 2003. I became a Reiki Master/Teacher in 2004 certified by the International Center for Reiki Training.

I began my private practice as a Reiki practitioner and teacher in 2004. I also included Flower Essence consultations at that time.  My clients vary from acute problems with stress and anxiety to chronic conditions such as cancer, chronic fatigue, M.S., fibromyalgia, lupus and depression. I give my clients tools such as meditation, visualization and deep breathing exercises to use between Reiki sessions. My training and experience as a Registered Nurse has expanded my work as a Reiki practitioner.

I have been an active member of the International Association of Reiki Practitioners since 2004 and the Flower Essence Society in 2008. I am a volunteer at the San Diego Cancer Center as a Reiki Practitioner and Flower Essence consultant as part of their Integrative Therapies Department. I also coordinate Healer's Night for the Volunteers.
